Good storytellers don’t let the “truth” get in the way. Steve Lukather shares similarities to how Billy Joel, Ben Folds, Barry Manillow, Sebastian Bach…& Elton John likely embellish stories some in order to make the telling more entertaining. I’m sure Lukather’s point of view in Toto lore is often quite different to what others in the band observed as y’all pointed out when their first bass player left. I’m looking forward to the Billy Joel related podcast y’all said you will put out at some point in the future.
